Terms of Service for Video Quality Enhancer

Welcome to Video Quality Enhancer ("the Extension," "the Service," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding legal agreement between you, the user, and the owner of the Extension.

By downloading, installing, or using the Video Quality Enhancer browser extension, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Extension.

1. The Service

Video Quality Enhancer provides users with a toolkit of real-time video filters (such as Sharpness, Denoise, and Color Adjustments) to apply to videos played within their web browser on various third-party websites.

2. Free Trial

We provide a one-time, 3-day free trial for every new user, starting immediately upon installation. During this trial, you have full, unlimited access to all features. No payment details are required. Once the trial period ends, the core enhancement features will be disabled until a subscription is purchased. Attempting to circumvent the trial period by reinstalling the extension or other means is a violation of these Terms.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

• Subscription Plans: To continue using the Service after the free trial, you must purchase a subscription, available on a monthly or yearly basis.
• Payment Processing: We use Paddle.com as our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all payment processing, invoicing, and subscription management. By making a purchase, you are transacting with Paddle and are subject to their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. We do not process, see, or store your credit card information.
• Automatic Renewal: For your convenience, all subscriptions are set to renew automatically at the end of the billing period. You may cancel this automatic renewal at any time.
• Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time. You will receive an email from Paddle after your purchase with a secure link to manage your subscription. If you cancel, your access to the Service will continue until the end of your current paid period, after which you will not be charged again.

4. Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your initial purchase. If you are unsatisfied with the Extension for any reason, please contact us within 14 days of your purchase date to request a full refund.

5. License and Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Extension for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license is for a single user but allows use across multiple devices where you are signed into the same browser profile (e.g., your Google Account).

6. Intellectual Property Rights

The Extension, including all its source code, design, features, and branding, is the exclusive intellectual property of the owner of Video Quality Enhancer and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a license to use the Service, not ownership of the software.

7. User Restrictions

You agree that you will not:

• Use the Extension for any illegal or fraudulent purpose.
• Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the Extension.
• Resell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the rights to use the Extension to any third party.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Extension is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements, be error-free, or be available uninterrupted. We cannot guarantee compatibility with all websites, video players, or future versions of your web browser, as these are subject to change by third parties. You use the Service at your own sole risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the owner of Video Quality Enhancer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Extension.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service, without prior notice, for any conduct that we believe violates these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, and Limitation of Liability) shall survive termination.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on our website. Your continued use of the Extension after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
